Our achievement until now is truly the result of more than 4 decades of experience overcoming countless hardships and challenges while affirming our strong ambition: establish a rightful position for agricultural products on the world map. History
The Vietnam National General Export – Import No.1 Joint Stock Company (GENERALEXIM., JSC) was established on 15th December 1981 under the administration of Ministry of Commerce as a company with 100% state capital. In 2006, the company was transformed into a Joint Stock Company and then officially listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange in November 2009. With more than 40 years of experience, GENERALEXIM., JSC has developed and established itself as one of the leading companies in import and export industry and gain a lot of credibility not only in domestic market but also from foreign partners. Additionally, the company has expanded into many different business sectors such as real-estate, trading and distribution and financial investment.
December 1981: Established as a company with 100% state capital, under the administration of Ministry of Commerce.
1993-1994: Inauguration of Prime Center Building Grade A located in 53 Quang Trung, Hanoi
May 2006: GE1 was transformed into a Joint Stock Company
November 2009: Listed on Hanoi Stock Exchange with ticker TH1
2011: Received second-class Independence Order
2012: Inauguration of the complex building located in 130 Nguyen Duc Canh Street, Hanoi
